An easy way to keep No Kings going 24-7.

 To my No-Kings friends -

If you are a person who was at a No Kings Rally this month, you should really know about our radio station - KYRS. We did three hours of live coverage of the No Kings Rally in Spokane on October 18th. Every day we provide news over the air and on the Internet that you will not find anywhere else in Spokane - national progressive programs like the Thom Hartman show and Amy Goodman’s Democracy Now.

Our community radio station has a powerful signal transmitted from a mountain north of here. This signal reaches most of eastern Washington and into Idaho. All of us who produce a show are volunteers. You can hear local political shows, local shows on the environment, local art shows, local music shows, all in between some great progressive national programming.

The government can’t stop our funding, because we receive no funding from the government. We will never become collaborators, quislings, or accomplices to the undemocratic authoritarians who are now in control of our federal government. They cannot withhold funding that they do not provide.

How do we stay on the air? How do we pay to keep our antenna up and running? How do we pay for national progressive programming? How do we provide truthful news to those who do not have a computer or cell phone coverage? How do we stay in the fight for what’s right? Quite simply, we stay in the fight because you subscribe. It costs three dollars a month. That’s thirty-six dollars a year. Or you can give more.

You can keep the No Kings movement going year round. You can bring it to people who are shut-ins, people who are, right now, afraid to stand up with you. You can tell them what is really going on in our world. Think of the people driving their cars, people who only watch FoxNews. Think of those people scanning the radio and they come across news which tells them the truth, tells them truths they have never heard before - all because you kept us on the air.
